Of all IYP Services this is by far the best. Not only does Verizon's Superpages.com have the highest market share of any IYP but it's system is also very user friendly. For business owners you can get a Free Listing with a lot of options for which other IYP firms would make you pay. You can order products online without any need to deal with salespeople. If you had to choose only one IYP, this is the one. |
This is the number two IYP based on market share. Ad rates are what we consider to be very expensive and in our opinion the contract terms are not vey friendly to the advertiser. If you cannot reasonably afford to be one of the top five listings in your desired headings then this is probably not a good choice for you. We don't recommend specialty products like tile ads, websites, search programs, or bundle packages. |
This is a small player in terms of company size but well worth consideration. While Magic Yellow is not branded well enough to be a destination site it generates a lot of traffic by achieving good placement on natural search results. You can get a Free Listing and have some affordable options for advertising. It's not the prettiest site but it is easy to navigate. |
Having an intuitive URL certainly helps people to find this site however a lack of advertising and branding keeps its traffic numbers and market share fairly low. While it is one of the better known IYP firms it's only number four on our list. |
